چکیده

(1) Background: Patients with a superior-labrum-from-anterior-to-posterior (SLAP) tear associated spinoglenoid ganglion cyst have undergone various procedures. The purpose of this study is to evaluate clinical outcomes following arthroscopic treatment in patients concomitant and SLAP lesion. (2) Methods: This followed PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews meta-analyses) guidelines, utilizing the PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Scopus databases. keywords included shoulder, SLAP, labral tear, notch, paralabral cyst, arthroscopy, treatment. (3) Results: A total 14 articles (206 patients) were included. Repair alone was administered 114 (Group R), 92 underwent additional decompression RD). Both groups showed excellent similar scores. rate complete resorption 95.5% Group RD, 92.2% R. complication 3.5% 11.4% reoperation 0% 5.3% (4) Conclusion: Reliable without serious complications obtained from use both safe method that will alleviate pressure on suprascapular nerve.

SLAP repair with arthroscopic decompression of spinoglenoid cyst.

INTRODUCTION A spinoglenoid cyst with suprascapular nerve disorders is highly associated with superior labrum anterior posterior (SLAP) lesion. Conservative or surgical treatment is applied to relieve pain and neurological symptoms. The purpose of this study was to evaluate clinical outcomes of patients treated by arthroscopic surgery for SLAP lesion with a spinoglenoid cyst. METHODS The subj...

Arthroscopic Intra-articular Spinoglenoid Cyst Resection Following SLAP Repair

Spinoglenoid cyst (SGC) is a ganglion arising in the spinoglenoid notch and is thought to be related to SLAP lesion. This cyst often compresses the suprascapular nerve in the spinoglenoid notch. Symptomatic cysts require surgical treatment when conservative treatment fails. In particular, arthroscopic decompression through the torn labral tissue when the cyst is extending into the joint cavity ...
